Equipment & Uniform Policy
The Hoffman Ice Hawks Hockey Club requires all players to wear properly fitted, approved protective equipment at all practices, games, clinics, and Club-sponsored on-ice activities. Player safety, team unity, and a professional appearance are priorities for the Club, and all players are expected to comply with the equipment and uniform standards.
Players will not be permitted to participate in any on-ice activity without all required protective equipment.
Hoffman Ice Hawks Uniform Standards (Travel Players Only)
To promote a consistent team identity and professional appearance, players should strive to maintain the following equipment colors whenever possible:
- Black Helmet (required beginning 2027-28 fall season)
- Black Hockey Pants and provided custom Hoffman Ice Hawk Hockey pant shells
- Black Gloves (or custom Hoffman Ice Hawk Hockey gloves, available beginning 2027-28 fall season)
When purchasing new equipment, players and families are expected to select equipment that conforms to the Club's color standards. Existing equipment that does not meet these standards may be permitted at the discretion of Club leadership until replacement becomes necessary.
The Hoffman Ice Hawks Hockey Club reserves the right to modify equipment standards as necessary to comply with USA Hockey, AHAI, CSDHL, NIHL/MSGL, CUHL, and Club policies.
